PLEASE, please pah-lease… Don’t use an aluminum bottle!!!!! I have a page
on aluminum dangers. Lavender was great for me for natural childbirth.
Soothing and calming.

you should NEVER put any kind of oil on a burn, it will trap the heat under
it and make the burn worse.

I was wondering if you could do a video or if you have any info about
coconut oil? I saw in one of your other videos that you use it on your face
but combined with other oils. I want to start using it on my face because
I’ve heard wonders about it, but I’ve also read that it makes some people
break out badly. I’m not acne prone at all, and maybe get a zit every
couple months. I’ve read that it can clog pores and that’s why some have a
bad reaction to it after about a month of usage. If i wash my face, and let
the coconut oil soak in for about 30 seconds and then pat it off with a wet
wash cloth, do you think this will lessen my chances for a breakout? Thanks
so much your videos are great!

Peppermint is the most versatile oil ever! I use it for migraines. I’m not
talking headaches that I call migraines, I’m talking the pounding
head/spine pain, nausea and crampiness that is a full-blown migraine. I use
peppermint on my temples and the back of my neck, and do a straight drop on
my tongue with a couple of drops in a 32 oz bottle of spring water, and it
takes care of the headache and the nausea after one reapplication on the
temples/neck and about thirty minutes. Before I discovered this, I would
have to sit in my room for days at a time, sobbing and unable to move, and
no medicine would help (and yes, it was so painful I resorted to taking
medicine, which is saying something considering I am a vegan health nut who
is inherently suspicious of a lot of modern medicinal practices), and while
I was told there is no underlying condition, my doctor still couldn’t give
me anything to help. Even though the migraine will usually come back once
or twice throughout the few days that I would normally be experiencing it
constantly, I just repeat the same procedure and I’m absolutely fine. That,
to me, is a true testament to the power we have to heal if we look to
nature.

I’m a midwife in the UK and in our unit we use lavender as a relaxing oil
in the bath during labour (5 drops in the bath). Also, we use lavender and
tea tree oils (2 drops each diluted in water) on the sanitary pad for women
that have had stitches.

DoTERROS has lemon oil and lemon essential oil. What’s the difference? Im
unsure which one I should get.

ToriMichele Morris December 18, 2014, 10:04 am

What is the shelf life of essential oils? Thank you for the tips.

Mikaila Van Otten December 18, 2014, 10:35 am

Oh my goodness, please do not ingest oils. A drop of essential oil an be
equal to 50-75 cups of tea. 5 ml of lemon oil = 49 pressed lemon peels,
think of what you’re handing your child in his water every day. The purer
the oils, the more potent. If Doterra is as pure as you claim, they’re
incredibly effective, and you don’t need much. People, please educate
yourselves beyond MLM “training”. Seek guidance of a passionate, certified,
knowledgeable ,OBJECTIVE aromatherapist.

Also! Would it be possible for you to one day post a chart with the oils
and their uses for quick reference? Or is there a chart which you site
often which is online? Thank you Jess! :)

Believe December 18, 2014, 1:24 pm

hello Jess, I was wondering if lemon oil is good for acne skin? I’ve heard
tea tree oil is good (melaleuca). what do you recommend? is it ok to mix
lemon oil and frankincence and use a cotton bud and dab on blemishes, not
pimples but those stubborn under the skin red sore ones?

Greg Fritz December 18, 2014, 2:15 pm

doTERRA’s oils are the best!

Amanda A December 18, 2014, 2:56 pm

Hi I have a question. My mom buys the minute maid 100% lemon juice (it
comes in a plastic bottle) from the grocery store. I checked the bottom of
the bottle and the number in the triangle is a 2. Does that mean that it is
not good to use because it is under a 7? I would really like to know. Thank
you.

roxanne bineau December 18, 2014, 3:27 pm

your channel is so helpful. i’ve never been one to take medication. if i
have a cold or headache or whatnot i generally just suck it up and plow
through it but thanks to you and my recent career change i’m leaning there
are better alternatives to ailments. so thank you so much. (: also i get
really bad menstrual cramps, how effective is the oil for treating them? i
usually use pamprin but if i could eliminate, or at least cut down, my use
of it i would be thrilled.
