Hah…before I read your description I guessed Peppermint!! What do I
win? :)

From the ED sale page: “Never ever smell a ‘new to you’ essential oil
directly from a bottle. Why? Because you will usually only get the top
note. These are the light and volatile constituents that are at the top of
the bottle. Our Essential Oils are 100% pure and very strong; they can burn
your nostrils; so be very careful. The true essences will be in the rest of
the bottle. Of course you missed that part… when you sniffed a whiff from
the newly opened bottle…” etc… Bad girl. :)

I have ordered Lotus oil before from a supplier in India, but it turned out
that all oils I had bought were fake, at least I had ordered only small
amounts to test it. I am afraid now in regards to Lotus oil, I heard that
lots of suppliers cheat customers and don’t supply real plant oils. There
are a few suppliers who I trust, but they don’t carry Lotus oil.

@katierae414512 Anywhere from half ounce to an ounce per pound is a good
starting point. It depends on how strong the scent is. That is where the
“art” comes in.

Good Earth Spa January 8, 2015, 5:36 pm

@elohelreh LOL hahahaha I have hawks in my brains!

sunshyneNrainxx January 8, 2015, 6:20 pm

You saved me a bunch of money ;) I ordered from them today. Thank you for
sharing

Good Earth Spa January 8, 2015, 6:28 pm

@mozartone234 Different things can trigger migraines in different people so
pay attention. For me, it’s rose and some other strong perfumy florals. It
might help to keep a journal of what you eat or new products you use and
when you have migraines. It took me several years to realize I am twice as
likely to get a migraine on the first day of my cycle than any other day.
Pay attention to yourself =)

@EdentiaFarms Thanks so much! I love your videos by the way! Thanks for all
the work you put into them.

hi bonnie i just received my ebay order zinc oxide thanks for fast
shipping.im new on this making your own eye make up i know i need few
pigment for color .any deal for multiple order ?

sunshyneNrainxx January 8, 2015, 7:45 pm

Wow talk about fast! My order arrived today. I got 11 bottles for what I
would’ve have paid for 3 elsewhere. The ylang ylang does smell a little
different but not bad. I’ll be blending them and tweaking my FO’s with some
of them. Their eucalyptus is one of the strongest I’ve ever smelled. Just
wanted to say thank you again. Haven’t tried their FO’s. If u do , please
let us know. ;)

Good Earth Spa January 8, 2015, 8:43 pm

@sunshyneNrainxx I bought some amyris EO from another place. I’ve heard it
helps EOs stick better. I’ll be trying that out.

sunshyneNrainxx January 8, 2015, 9:26 pm

So glad u did this video. I’ve been eyeing them but wasn’t sure about them.
I’m spoiled to Camden grey and wsp essential oils. Although wsp is quite
expensive I find I can use less because they are so strong. I definitely
wanna get the cassia. Thanks ;) can’t wait to see how they hold up in soap.

Good Earth Spa January 8, 2015, 9:59 pm

@valbakke Yes, that is true. You really have to use them to get the full
effect.

Good Earth Spa January 8, 2015, 10:50 pm

@sunshyneNrainxx No, there is no mention of dates that I can find. I do
make my own essential oils and they seem fresh enough. If stored properly,
essential oils can last 2+ years. I’d hope they are all from the most
recent season, even last years oils would still be good. I only purchase
what I expect to use within 6 months when it comes to supplies. It’s a big
enough order to save with bulk prices and maintaining fresh ingredients.

NICE VIDEO, YES COFFEE BEANS IS A MUST, I HAVE A KIOSK AT THE MALL AND I
HAVE TO HAVE COFFEE BEANS!!

Good Earth Spa January 9, 2015, 12:40 am

@Mrssoappeddler I didn’t pick up any of their FOs so I don’t know about the
sandalwood. I use sandalwood from BB. I’ve tried others and most are not
what I want. As for the ylang-ylang EO, it smells very similar to my other
ylang-ylang. It’s a floral scent but it is a very different flower. It
smells nothing like rose, lavender, jasmine or other florals. ylang-ylang
stands on it’s own. You either like or dislike it and that’s the way of it
:) I like it in blends, personally and not by itself.

Mrssoappeddler January 9, 2015, 12:40 am

I have their Ylang Ylang and I wasn’t sure if it was “right” or not. I
don’t smell any floral. In fact I think it stinks! lol I have Sandlewood
and it stinks too! Not sure what to do with them!

Carol J. Weeks January 9, 2015, 1:08 am

Hi Bonnie! I have order my lye and coconut oil from them, and was happy, so
I bought some EO’s from them and really like the smell of their scents. I
liked them too!!!! :)

Katie Alexander January 9, 2015, 1:28 am

can someone please tell me their recommendation for amount of fragrance oil
to put in a batch of soap?? im a new soaper and any feedbacm or advice

Soaptivated January 9, 2015, 1:54 am

@EdentiaFarms Me thinks you pronounced ylang ylang correctly! But what do I
know? I’m just an American, too!

Good Earth Spa January 9, 2015, 1:59 am

@YarnAndGarden Some people say lang lang and some say ee-lang ee-lang. I
read it like an American so I’m sorry but I make the “y” sound sometimes…
I forget ;)

Soaptivated January 9, 2015, 2:31 am

Continuing from ED sale page…”…The proper way is to gently rotate the
bottle then place a drop or two onto scent testing strips made for smelling
scents. Or at the very least use a clean paper towel (not the best but
better than a tissue). Don’t stick you nose right into that drop. Gently
wave the scent strip under you nose. Take a little whiff and then you can
detect the more subtle botanical aromas.”

Mrssoappeddler January 9, 2015, 3:27 am

@EdentiaFarms Thanks Bonnie. I guess I don’t like it! lol! …Peee U!!! You
answered my questions on some of the others though. Thanks.. I really like
the company so I will go back and try more EO.. Have a great weekend
Bonnie! Love ya!

Kimberly Kendziora January 9, 2015, 4:05 am

Great video Bonnie!

valbakke January 9, 2015, 4:55 am

ED noted that you should not smell directly from bottle, there is a chance
that you could burn your nose because they are so strong.

moonchildsoaps January 9, 2015, 5:10 am

YAY, gonna put me in an order soon, been dying for some EO’s for awhile and
think these will be a great start on a collection!!! Thanks for this video!
